EcoVadis medals and badges are awarded on percentile rank against all companies rated in the previous, 2 months so your score can stay flat and your medal can still drop.

Answers are worth nothing without documents.
The methodology scores evidence on a Policy → Action → Result structure across seven management indicators. A declared commitment with no supporting document and no KPI is scored as unsupported.

Your scorecard expires.
An EcoVadis scorecard is valid for 12 months from publication, which is why buyers keep re-requesting it and why submission work is an annual cycle, not a one-time project.
