About IGBC

The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) was formed in the year 2001. The vision of the council is, To enable a sustainable built environment for all and facilitate India to be one of the global leaders in the sustainable built environment by 2025

 

The council offers a wide array of services which include developing new green building rating programmes, certification services and green building training programmes.

 

All the stakeholders of construction industry comprising of architects, developers, product manufacturers, corporate, Government, academia and nodal agencies participate in the council activities through local chapters.

  • How will the Bootcamp be conducted?
    All the sessions and activities will be conducted online. You will use online platforms like Zoom, WhatsApp and Slack to attend lectures, engage with your peers, educators and organizers, and complete your assignments. The participants are hence requested to have a stable internet connection and a device (Tablet, Laptop) for participating in the program. All the necessary course details, links and resources required for the duration of the Bootcamp will be shared with you on your email id and respective WhatsApp ground.
  • How will we communicate after registration?
    Once you have registered, you will receive an email confirming your registration. Soon we will share a virtual 'Welcome Kit' with you. This Welcome Kit will have all the details and necessary links you will need during the Bootcamp. Besides this, you will receive notifications and reminders for the Zoom event on your email id. We will also use Slack Channel and WhatsApp group to communicate, network and share the details of the session, latest updates in the BRSR and ESG domain, and any other relevant information that would help you stay updated with this dynamic field. Please ensure you regularly check the "Promotional Tab" on your Gmail for any correspondence that you might have missed from Sustainability 101.
